Abstract
Ulcerative colitis (UC) is a chronic inflammatory bowel disease, and vedolizumab is the one of the treatment options of moderate-to-severe UC refractory to tumor necrosis factor- inhibitors. The development of paradoxical skin lesions, psoriasis under therapy with vedolizumab has rarely been previously reported and has never been reported in Korea. Herein, we report a case of psoriasis during vedolizumab treatment in Korea, and this case report might contribute to a better understanding of paradoxical inflammatory reactions after treatment with vedolizumab.
